A new day is dawning, and we should cherish every day. Over the years of development, the YS7112 three-phase asynchronous motor has been widely used in many devices, most notably in fans, food machinery, and other equipment. Our greatest wish is to meet our customers' needs. Of course, the YS7112 three-phase asynchronous motor is also one of the smaller models and power ratings in the 71 frame size. Above it, there are also 550W and 750W models, and customers can make their purchases based on their own needs, while also considering the actual on-site requirements when making a choice. You can also contact us for communication. We are dedicated to serving you.
Storage
After the YS7112 three-phase asynchronous motor is delivered to the customer's site, if it is not installed immediately, it should be uncrated, cleaned, and inspected as described above. The exposed metal surfaces should be re-coated with sealing materials such as anti-rust oil. After inspection and sealing, the motor should be re-packed and secured in a clean, dry area, and placed in a warehouse. The warehouse should have dry air, good ventilation, and an ambient temperature that is consistently maintained between 5°C and 40°C, with protection against moisture, dust, and insects. The motor must not be stacked to prevent tipping. Necessary anti-rust protection measures should be taken for the motor shaft extension, slip rings, and exposed fasteners. Every six months, the motor should be uncrated for inspection to check if the temporary sealing has deteriorated, so that storage conditions can be improved in a timely manner.
Inspection
Installers must carefully read the random documents provided by the manufacturer, such as the product operation and maintenance manual, packing list, outline drawing, etc. After uncrating, remove the dust on the YS7112 three-phase asynchronous motor and the anti-rust layer on the shaft extension, taking care not to damage the seals on the mating parts and the surface paint.
Carefully check whether the data on the motor nameplate meets the requirements of the matching machinery, and record the production date and serial number. Carefully check whether the motor has any deformation or damage during transportation, and whether the fasteners are loose or fallen. Turn the motor by hand to check if it rotates smoothly, and check whether the grease or lubricating oil has deteriorated. If deterioration is found, replace it with grease or lubricating oil of the same grade. If the motor has been stored for more than one year, carefully check whether there is any rust on the bearings and bearing seats, and replace the grease or lubricating oil of the same grade at the same time. Check whether the actual external installation dimensions of the motor are consistent with the random outline installation drawing, and check whether the carbon brush device on the slip rings of the wound rotor and the wires on each slip ring and carbon brush are loose or short-circuited. Clean the slip rings and conductive rings to avoid arcing during operation.
Check whether the spare parts are complete.
Check and adjust the installation foundation height and flatness of the motor, and verify the position and size of the anchor bolt holes. The installation foundation must be sturdy and solid.
There should be sufficient space around the YS7112 three-phase asynchronous motor to facilitate maintenance, and cooling air should flow smoothly through the motor.
Before starting installation, check whether the lifting equipment has sufficient lifting capacity, and the lifting method and auxiliary tools should also be considered in advance. When lifting the motor, the angle between the slings shall not exceed 45°. For motors with sliding bearings, a fixing device to prevent axial movement of the rotor is installed during transportation and should be removed when installing the motor.
Coupling Assembly When assembling the coupling, pay attention to the following matters: Use appropriate lifting tools to lift the coupling. Remove the anti-corrosion coating on the shaft extension end, and ensure that the keyways of the coupling and the shaft extension end are clean and free of burrs. Verify the dimensions of the shaft extension end and the coupling against the outline drawing. The coupling should be uniformly heated by heating, then shrink-fitted onto the rotating shaft, and then allowed to cool naturally. Special tools shall be used for the assembly and disassembly of the coupling to ensure that the motor shaft extension is not damaged. Note: To avoid damaging the bearings, do not apply external force to the motor rotating shaft and bearings when assembling the coupling.
Installation During installation, the motor rotating shaft must be horizontal (except for vertical motors), ensuring that the center line of the motor shaft is concentric with the center line of the driven machinery shaft. The motor shaft extension is not allowed to bear additional axial loads and radial loads other than the coupling (except for special motors). When using an elastic coupling, an appropriate gap should be left between the couplings. When using sliding bearings, the distance between the step of the motor shaft extension and the bearing cover should be determined according to the data on the magnetic center indicator. When the motor is connected to the driven machinery by an elastic coupling, the driven machinery shall have an axial limiting device, and its axial runout shall be less than 2mm or in accordance with the technical agreement. Note: Before rotating the sliding bearing, lubricating oil must be added.
Alignment Rotate the rotor and observe its axial float. For the YS7112 three-phase asynchronous motor connected by a coupling, rotate the motor shaft and the equipment shaft simultaneously, measure the horizontal, angular, and axial deviation readings at four different positions (top, bottom, left, and right), and keep records.
(For vertically installed motors, adjust the inspection positions accordingly) Adjust the motor vertically by adjusting bolts or other equipment. Please note that the accuracy of alignment may be affected by thermal expansion and contraction. During the alignment process, prepare a certain number of shims or wedges, place them under the motor base, and tighten the fixing bolts. Check again whether the motor is aligned, and re-calibrate if necessary.
Wiring Verify that the nameplate data is consistent with the power supply connected to the motor, and select the power supply cable specifications according to the voltage level, current size, and power supply distance to ensure power supply safety. The stator is connected in Y or △ as specified on the nameplate. The three terminals K, L, M of the wound rotor are connected to a frequency-sensitive rheostat or other starting resistors, and the wiring must be firm and reliable. After wiring, remove debris from the junction box and the inside of the motor. Re-tighten all fasteners, and the grounding wire must be firm and reliable. Check whether the creepage distance (minimum air gap) of the exposed conductors meets the requirements, whether the porcelain insulators of the motor terminals and the rotor terminals are loose, and whether the grounding of the frame and junction box is firm. The external forced air cooler is equipped with a small ventilation fan. When wiring, verify that it is consistent with the voltage and connection method on the motor nameplate.
Test Start Before the test start, inspect the motor and its auxiliary equipment to confirm that all necessary work has been completed.
When the YS7112 three-phase asynchronous motor is used for the first time, after starting, it should run idly for 2 to 3 hours. After confirming that everything is normal, apply load. During this period, pay attention to any abnormal noise, vibration, or overheating, and check whether the three-phase current is balanced. If any abnormal phenomenon is found, stop the motor immediately for inspection, check the installation and eliminate the abnormal phenomenon. The rotation direction of the motor should be consistent with the rotation direction of the driven machinery. The motor is allowed to start at full voltage, and the terminal voltage during starting shall not be less than 85% of the rated value on the nameplate. When the sliding bearing of the motor uses a thin oil station for circulating lubrication, the thin oil station should be put into operation first and in a stable condition before connecting the motor power supply.
